Or, he could just get all pretentious and affect one of those droll, monotone English "Masterpiece Theatre" accents.

You know, if the book is as good as everyone says it is then it really doesn't matter what voice.

Look at Derek Prince. He sounded rather monotone and very stiff and it didn't matter at all cos he had so much great stuff to say.
That is also powerful too.

No. Never heard of him. Should I have? Did he make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs?

I guess "VERY well known" is subjective. y:-?

I'm not being sarcastic. I honestly never heard of him before.

well if you got a spare three hours, you might be able to get to know him better

I didn't realise that clip was so long!

Derek prince has always been a very popular teacher on our Christian radio station. Very popular throughout England, I think?

Tho Story Teller might also come back and give me the "who?" response too.

I had to google.

Apparently he repented and left the group he and two others set up (Christian Growth Movement)

As for speaking voices, has to be Morgan Frreeman or Prof Brian Cox.

Don't know that I can get Morgan Freeman to do it. I won't bug you all with thoughts, but I went ahead and did a take on introduction. I have a clean version that I tried to do just a little bit more freely than is written on the page, hope to have it sound a little more natural that way. I have a clean copy here, one with a classroom ambiance, and one with a light crowd ambiance in case a little background helps to make it sound more natural. So, again, thoughts?

And that, brothers and sisters, is the kind of foolishness you get people who insist on denying biblical theism. A good illustration of any as the length people will go to avoid acknowledging basic truths.

I think I liked the third one best.

You know I did a preaching course at my old church where there was alot of critiquing.

But thinking back I think one of the best possible pieces of advice would have been if someone had said just to say it like I was saying it to one person. Not a crowd.

I imagine Jesus having that kind of mentality. He spoke to the "one".. not the 'masses'

I look forward to hearing the whole thing :esmile:

I didn't like the crowd version so much - I think the clean one's best. Why put unnecessary noise into something? But then I like things simple, tidy and un-noisy. :esmile:

Listening on my iphone6, I couldn't really tell a difference between any. They're all fine.
