waynes world wrote:Why in the world do you make a statement like that? Just because I think the dinasours didn't climb the ark doesn't mean I don't believe in creation. It sounds like you want to make it a salvation issue. But its a man made idea not a God made one. We are warned against delving on myths like that one in 1 Timothy 1 verse 3 and following. We weren't alive when the flood happened so we don't know one way or another and the flood was not brought to prove scientific creationism but to punish sin.
Look at my previous post. I stand by it.

Where does the Bible say they climbed aboard the ark???Do you have to believe that to be a Christian? It sure sounds like thats the case!

All the sites are creationist sites, that figures. Someone who was a creationist speaker told me that many of them no longer believe the dinasours combed the ark. I know of no site outside of creationissm that teaches that. Certainly the secular poplulation that I've talked to can only laugh. And its not taught anywhere in the Bible that the dinos and men lived at the same time.

you don't have to believe they climbed aboard the ark to be christian. yeah, and i don't think any secular sites would ever dream of espousing the idea, it would be heresy! but, did you read the articles? they make sense to me. i love the idea. what don't you like about it?
the secular population that i've talked to can only lauch.
they laugh at me to whenever i bring it up.
it's not taught anywhere in the bible.
i don't know, after reading the articles, i felt that the bible does teach that man/dino lived together. that's just me.

If you want to believe that its okay, I choose not to. I think someday God will tell us. But then it won't really matter will it? Why should it matter now? I mean we weren't there when the dinasours romaed the earth.

we weren't there when the dinosaurs roamed the earth.
remember, you don't know that for sure.
it won't really matter will it? why should it matter now?
i just think it's cool.

No, you've been trying to discredit the Job verses. Now, you've changed your position.

I don't think WW has been trying to discredit the Job verses, but rather he's been trying to point out that you're reading too much into them with interpretating the creatures within as dinosaurs, something that isn't at all clear, but anyway...
Kurieuo.

His personal opinion is that it was likely not a dinosaur. I suggested that it sounds like a dinosaur, but that's not a definite thing.

Thanks! I'm not discrediting anything I just don't see how God is telling Job that the dinasours climbed onto the ark at all. Why can't people realize the point here? Its about our worship toward God!
