How did this become an evolution thread? Anyway since there is absolutely no peer reviewed evidence that demonstrates life evolves the three-toed horse was simply the kinds of horses that lived in the former world that perished until God MADE this world we live in now.Exodus 20:11

It never ceases to surprise me how intellectually dishonest and presumptuous proponents of ToE are, and how presumptuous the theory is, itself. Cool; you can read and look at fossils. But if you don't see the serious foundation flaws of ToE and keep spouting you know what you're talking about, might as label yourself a pseudo intellectual. And stop saying philosophy isn't used in science, or in every aspect of life (which everyone uses almost on an daily basis unless they are blank minds or DD). It shows a gross inability to even think, let alone critically. :shakehead:

Prease exprain what he was actually saying.

What he actually wrote is kinda dumb.

I said dumb because it is dumb, not " just because I disagree".
There was nothing idiotic in what Wright said and no, he isn't a creationist.
Idiotic means very stupid.
Which means it lacked intelligence and'or common sense.

There is nothing in his post that denotes lack of common sense or intelligence.

In regards to his point that the TOE isn't a theory in his view:
A scientific theory must follow the scientific method and one of the key points is that it must be falsifiable.
IE: the theory can be disproven.
You can disagree with his opinion but you can't call it idiotic because it does some some validity.

As for the natural selection being an oxymoron, I posted the link that shows that the view is not idiotic.

EX:
This is a far more modest debate. It's a debate on nothing more than definition. Is the term "natural selection" an oxymoron? To answer this question, we really need to cite nothing more than the dictionary. I used Merriam Webster online. Here are the relevant definitions:

oxymoron: a combination of words that have opposite or very different meanings.

natural: existing in nature and not made or caused by people: coming from nature

selection: the act of choosing something or someone from a group.

There you have it! Natural describes what just happens. It happens naturally without purposeful, active intervention. Selection, on the other hand, is a deliberate choice. Selection is active purposeful choice - exactly what does not happen in nature. Thus, natural selection is, by definition, an oxymoron.
Again, you can disagree of course BUt what you can't do is call it idiotic.
