Welcome, Peter.

The great thing about a forum setting, is that you don't really need to be outgoing, to post. I lurked for quite a while, before I joined, myself. ( I'm generally very cautious, and skeptical.) I think you'll really like it here.

Whoo~! Quote inside a quote. :3
Anyways, more seriously, thank-you for the welcome.
If anything, though, this chosen username is meant to be semi-comical, but also maybe referencing a bit of naivety. Heh. In any case, I'm glad to be here so far. X3

Um, thank-you. Heh.

Well, I do like to read, though I've often had a tendency to make page-scrolling-length posts. Oddly enough, I haven't done such here yet. Heh.

Still trying to think of what sort of avatar to have. But well, that's a bit irrelevant.
I must warn you all that my sense of humor is very ludicrously serious and quite hard to grasp at times, considering I tend to be very over-literal in my approach to things at times.

You remind me of me when I first joined :). I spent about two months lurking before I joined. Nevertheless, I am happy to see you here. I wish you the best of luck in your search for knowledge and to expand your faith in Christ.

Hey I didn't know your name was peter! I'm glad you finally posted here, I was wondering where you went.

I Supose I should do a little intro myself huh?
Well I'm from the same forums that FlawedIntelect is from (Don't ask me for the name I won't tell). though I still talk with people there, flawedintelect had to leave because of various problems with the people there. Don't worry there wont be any issues here.
Anyways I hope to learn alot from you guys in the future.
Also @FlawedIntelect, Could I call you 10mm here or at least abreviate you name to FI. It's hard to write "FlawedIntelect" so often.

Well, if you want to abbreviate my name as FI, you may, but capitalize the "M"s in 10MM. It's not 10 millimeters of distance, the measure of a centimeter, but rather an abbreviation of a username I use frequently, so the "M"s have to be capitalized. Just a personal quirk.

If anything, though, I've yet to post in any other threads, heh. But well, I'm working my way to that.

Hi, I'm Luise, I'm 22 and a I've been a Christian for about 1 1/2 years. Before that I was an Atheist.

This website was one of the reasons why I changed my mind and let God into my heart.

I hope to learn more from you guys and this forum and I am open to any questions.

God bless you all. :amen:

Welcome, grow strong in your faith.

1Tim1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.Amen.

Hi me123. I was an atheist longer than you. This website also changed much in my life. Hope that you will really learn something from us. :) Welcome.
But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

Hello all. I've been lurking around this forum for quite some time, and I figured I might as well come out of the shadows at some point. I am a 22 year old graduate student in English Literature with a more than passing interest in biblical studies. While my knowledge of philosophy, science, and especially theology could certainly stand to see some improvement, I'm fairly familiar with biblical scholarship and hope to prove valuable to this board.

And, no, in choosing the name "Icthus" I am not claiming to be God. I just like the acronym. This is my first online forum, so a bit of patience may be required concerning my user interface skills. In any case, I'm pleased to be here. There are a lot of intelligent, informed users on this board representing a wide variety of stances on Christianity, and I look forward to contributing.

Thank you. I'm still learning how to quote and such, so I'm hoping this post works properly.
