Where does this verse mention anything about "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"? Paul was speaking here as a matter-of-fact event. The only scriptures that he could have been referring to were the gospels.

i dont know. anyone have a list of the OT verses that refer to the messiah?
EDIT: do the gospels actually say anywhere that Christ died for our sins?

Is that a trick question? How about John 3:16-17?
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,

Add John 10:11.
