Hi August,

I don't dispute anything you say, and indeed a duality of mind and body has been a long tradition of philosophy as well as religion. But none of this is sufficient evidence to convince me personally. Life after death is one of those theories (like creationism) that cannot be disproved and for me that means that the evidence to persuade me that is it likely a correct theory must be very rigorous. None of what you suggest falls into that category. I think it is an interesting theory though, like the many multiple and parallel universe theories, string theory and many others.

Walking the Road, try to get a few books on out of body experience techniques. It might change your opinion on the matter of life after death. ;)

Slight point I felt like throwing in: humans are quite stupid, I agree. However, I should also like to point out that physics dictates that we will only get stupider. (That whole entropy thing) People seem to think that we are getting smarter over time, but I just don't think that's possible. If anyone one really wants me too I can pull some semi-geeky physics major foolishness, but I'm a bit lazy and most people skip such things anyway. :)

Sorry that wasn't entirely on topic, just a side point of mine. :)
