My point is that finite values exist, even given an infinite set of points.

Take the example above and use time instead. There are an infinite number of points between myself and the super market. Each unit of distance I travel requires a moment in time. How can I ever reach the supermarket it would take me infinite moments to get there. I would surely starve, no?
