That's exactly my point. Sometimes God does not work through natural laws (water into wine). But in general there is no scientific method of determining whether something happened due to divine intervention. [This is different from just counting whether prayers have been answered. It is the manner in which something happens.]

Unless, of course, everything happens by divine intervention. Chesterton called the world, including its 'laws', magical (which meant the 'laws' were actually enchantments). So who's the magician?
