I feel I must agree there, but I could definitely go for some classical from time to time. I really like Bach and am a pretty big fan of Holst's Planets Suite.

Ah Holst - he was born in my town. The lovely Cheltenham.

One album that I really like is John Rutter's "Requiem (and other sacred music)." At Amazon, the 11 people that reviewed it all gave it five stars, adding that this particular recording (NAXOS) is better than others made. http://www.amazon.com/Rutter-Requiem-Su ... 430&sr=1-2

One of my all time favorite albums is the soundtrack from the movie Master and Commander. Classical mixed in with folk songs, all excellently done.

Fernando Ortega's Hymns & Meditations is really great too.

I love classical music... Who wouldn't? For me Aaron Copeland would be one of my masters...

Yep, like his rodeo and the music taken from "Simple gifts"

I'm not a big fan of Rutter, but I admit I'm not a fan of modern classical or vocal

Give me BAch's Oratorio or Haydn, Mozart, or Vivaldi, Beethoven vocal works

Ferde Grofe's "Grand Canyon Suite" is descriptive and breathtaking.

I do enjoy classical music but I think I need to overcome my fixation with Chopin before I move on much.

Not classical at all but this a thread titled 'Music' and I can't stop listening to Diamanda Galas, I think she might have the best voice ever

I know nothing of classical music, other than the fact that I like it. I also like rock... two oposite ends there. Anyway, my favorite music is the theme music for morrowind, just go to youtube and type in Morrowind Soundtrack cause I don't have the link! Check it out and tell me what you all think.
