If the key was left in the «accessories» position for a very long time, your battery would now be completely drained. Jump starting is impossible (especially with female help)...you need to have your battery re-charged with a charger, assuming this is the problem.

I don't think that was the problem. None of the lights were on or anything, although the van did make that "ding ding" sound when the door was open and the key was in the ignition.
