You mentioned increased decay rates of radiometric elements. As pointed out below the RATE team admits to finding over 500 million years worth of radiometric decay. To accomplish this during the creation week or during the flood would cause the oceans to evaporate, the earth's crust to melt and cause radiation damage to all life forms.
