Why isn't the Bible...better?

sorry i never got back to finish my study/debate, but kmr nailed it better and more efficient than i could. I don't think ive ever truly been atheist, but i went through a time when i was just all about science and logic and very anti religion. where im at now is seeing that the sciences, logic, reason, history and so on are the tools God has provided us to PROOVE that he and his word are real. I'm still not a big fan of religions, for example: denomination A fighting with denomination B over the trinity/baptism/tounges etc.. I don't think we are called to becaome part of a church system, because isnt that what God destroyed when he set up the new covenant and toppled the temple?
