Murray,
Apart from wishful thinking, what scriptural support do have for this position? Because there is no traditional view that would support such.

catholics have purgatory with biblical support, so I found reincarnation to be more logical due to alot of accounts of reliving past experiences ect...

Honestly I hate having to talk with you guys constantly about this.

I'll re-think it, I'll pray about it, and maybe i'll change my mind, no more on this back to topic.

FYI, purgatory is NOT a second chance. You die once and then judgment.

FYI reincarnation is not a second chance either, it is giving a CHANCE they never had. Like giving a amazionian tribesman a CHANCE to accept christ.

They never had a first chance so they cannot have a second.......

Get off the topic of reincarnation please..... It's not going to concince me, let me convince myself of it.......

Sooo very few people IMO will be reincarned in this time, because sooo many have exposure to the message of christ and reject it.

Let me make that clear, if you reject jesus, you will not be reincarnated....

You may be right. When I was in my 20s and knew everything, a dark-skinned woman with a curtain rolled around her head told me that I was the reincarnation of a guard in Amenhotep II's royal court. At first I laughed it off but now I have second thoughts.

It is true. The woman was from Benin - or Togo - and was a soothsayer, a witch, or something like that. Anyway, I'm baaaack!

Those who hold the view of purgatory believe it is for the saved, not the reprobate.

If someone knowingly rejects Christ, they are condemned and will go to Hell.

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:18

Murray, you need to repent of your view on reincarnation.
Jlay, I checked, and it doesn't show any post by you was deleted. Unless the higher ups can delete without me seeing.

The last question I asked you didn't relate to purgatory. Byblos answered that.
What's to pray about? You just said, "I found" reincarnation to be more logical. Please provide a syllogism of this logic. How is it logical to have to reject scripture, and rely on contradictory views? What mode of logic are you working within? Please provide any scriptural exegesis that would lead to such a belief. If you have any foundation for this belief, other than imagination, provide it, or take some counsel, and abandon it.

Murray, if you don't want to engage in conversion you're not obligated to do so but you can't stop others from commenting on what you wrote.

To which I responded no you may not. People are free to comment on anything they deem of value. If you do not like what they have to say you can either respond or you can ignore it. What you CANNOT do is tell them to stop.
