Those who never heard the Gospel - well, I think they will be pardoned, on some unknown criteria of which I have no idea about.

Jesus said:
John 15:22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin.
Hana, we are talking about people, to whom Jesus never spoke to.

Some theologians of the past believed that the core of the Gospel (outside salvation in Christ of course) was present in all forms of religion, the so called universal truths and in that regards, no one has an excuse to do with is "wrong".

Maybe James 5:20 gives some motivation to share the gospel

And nobody has given a direct answer (which I understand anyway). Can a Jew know/experience god without jesus?

Hasn't there been cases where someone has experienced God though some event in their life and then come to know Jesus after a journey of discovery.
As pertaining to the Jewish people i am not sure, if they have rejected the son do they not also reject God in that same action?
But then again i dont know as they are chosen by God as his people so maybe yea they do experience God.
Maybe ask someone who is Jewish.
