Boy...Ill say he is ! For a personal Being to bring into existence a fully formed Universe complete with working Physics Constants and LIfe Enabling Constants amounting to over 150 which are all required and which all work in conjunction with each other so we could be here on Earth.... by his sheer will from nothing....is the epitomie of "all-powerful " .

God could , but wont, veto or override our freewill choices since his character is to grant people the freewill choice of returning his love , or not.

Ultimate777, this is from this article in wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omnipotence
Paradoxes
Main article: Omnipotence paradox

Belief that omnipotence exists in any form can arguably be disproved. A classical example goes as follows:

"Can a deity create a rock so heavy that even the deity itself cannot lift it? If so, then the rock is now unliftable, limiting the deity's power. But if not, then the deity is still not omnipotent because it cannot create that rock."[15]

This question cannot be answered using formal logic[citation needed] due to its self-referential nature - see liar paradox. Combining omnipotence with omniscience can yield the difficulty of whether or not a deity can pose a question to which the deity would not know the answer.

Augustine, in his City of God, argued, instead, that God could not do anything that would make God non-omnipotent:

For He is called omnipotent on account of His doing what He wills, not on account of His suffering what He wills not; for if that should befall Him, He would by no means be omnipotent. Wherefore, He cannot do some things for the very reason that He is omnipotent.[16]

I think if I have any pretence of being intellectually honest or a Christian I should admit that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omnipotence tends to bear you all out and I should have gone there or some place like it before bringing all this up.

Do you actually have an argument of your own ultimate777? Or at a minimum answer questions posed to you in a coherent fashion? Because if you just want to regurgitate others' arguments, post links without addressing specific points, or simply obfuscate for the sake of it then really, there is no point in all of this. In fact, there is no point in all of it anyway, since you think the absurd is logical but at least we wanted to lead you to that conclusion through rational dialogue (oops, there I go again, talking rationality, sorry).

Byblos, I believe ultimate777 is actually admitting that he may have jumped the gun, and that if he looked at something as simple as wikipedia beforehand, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

As a lifelong Red Sox fan, I wouldn't have believed they won, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.
