Great, so now FL is saying that women cannot be saved. Here we go........
Jlay, I think FL is simply saying that women Christians can lose their salvation. Those French Canadians sure are chauvinist pigs!!!!

I actually studies this and the whole childbirth thing is about Jesus Christ birth. Anyway what's up with different denominations thinking that only in this denomination can one be saved. I thought it was this.
1. Accepted Jesus Christ
2. Worship God
3. and pray and praise him
were the basic things

Many in one denomination or another believe that Christians in some other denominations are saved, so I don't think the embedded premises in your question are necessarily true.

Except the Catholics - they think we are all heathens.
(sorry Byblos et al...couldn't resist)

Well Catholics replaced the pagan gods with saints, think they're saved via the Church rather than Christ, and they pray to Mary... so enough said really.

And those are my friends UsagiTsukino. Wait til you meet some who don't actually like me
.
On a more serious note, stay away from any denomination that claims to know who is saved and who isn't.

Guys,
Knock it off!! I'm here for you Byblos. Let's say a prayer to Mary, that these separated protestant brethren will come back to the Mother Church, so they will find salvation.
Why do these assurance threads always turn into a Catholic bashfest?
Can't we all just get along?
