I think the issue perhaps is me, you guys obviously enjoy the endless banter. I came here thinking that this forum was something that it's not.
We become Christians by the grace of Our Lord and the sealing by the HS, not because we read anything.
Many a person has come to Christ for many other reasons and many other ways besides the bible.
We should be cautious NOT to place a limit on Our Lord and how anyone can come to Him.
I agree with you, there are many paths.
I believe it is unique for everyone and not dependant upon anything but a love and longing for Jesus.
I place no limits
or boundries
I never question His Authority
WE are all worthy
of his love and sacrifice
One can argue that it is NOT the bible but the HS that helps us become/try to be better.
But I understand what you mean and I agree.
The bible is crucial in helping us to understand God's love and grace and in helping us try to be better than we are.
