I'm sorry Byblos. I hope you and your family are doing ok.

My Mom passed away May of last year. And her birthday just passed a couple of weeks ago, and Mother's Day is next week. I'm having a difficult time with it.

You and your family are in my prayers my friend.
Never forget that He is Love and that we will see our loved one again.
To be with Our Lord is the greatest of gifts that we get BUT the pain that we feel when our loved ones are no longer with us is real and we never forget how Our Lord cried when He saw the sorrow felt after Lazarus died, even knowing that He was going to resurrect him.
It is right to feel sorrow when we lose those we love and it is right to feel joy knowing that are with Our Lord.

The anniversary of my Dad's death was this month, April 12th and it was very tough, on my mom more so than anyone else I think.
Even in the knowledge that our loved ones are with Christ, there is always a sense of loss, of pain.

The depth of our pain is a measurement of our love.

Byblos wrote:After a long battle, it really looked like Marty was going to make it but unfortunately he took a turn for the worse. Last week he was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was so sudden and so aggressive that he was left with lymph nodes triple the size and no course of action. Today we made the agonizing decision to transfer him to palliative care. It is a matter of days, maybe hours. Please keep him and us in your prayers that the Lord be merciful and end his suffering quickly.
John , I'm so sorry my friend :(
I just saw this today :(
Bro if you need to talk or anything at all I'm here

Yet again I find myself in need of your urgent prayers. Yesterday we lost my nephew Jeff. 31 years old, in the prime of his life, full of promise and potential. A beautiful person loved by all and who was larger than life. All indications are that it was a ruptured brain aneurysm. My heart is broken in a million pieces, Jeff and his brother are to me more like sons than nephews. My wife and I were very much involved in their lives. My sister is utterly inconsolable.

I know God has a plan, I am struggling mightily to find it. Your prayers are much appreciated.
