Our salvation begins and ends with the cross. Not in the form of the Eucharist or anything else. One sacrifice, performed once only, to cover all sins, across history. Our part is only to have faith.
That should read 'for something as important as the salvation of men in the form of Christ'.
The Eucharist, whilst holding significance to Catholics, has no bearing whatsoever on salvation.

Yes young lady you are quite correct. This portion of my post was
so sloppy. What I was trying to say was :
especially for something as important as the salvation of men by
His essential sacrifice, in the form of the Eucharist, millions of times a day. What i wanted to convey was the serious depreciation of the sacrifice He made by minimizing to eliminating the attribute of His omnipresence. If you take away any of the attributes of God then His human sacrifice becomes lessened to meaningless and that is so totally unacceptable.
There is no substitute for His death on the cross for us and no less a commitment from us by and through our faith...
oh yeah... something like this...
Our salvation begins and ends with the cross. Not in the form of the Eucharist or anything else. One sacrifice, performed once only, to cover all sins, across history. Our part is only to have faith.

It all depends on how literal you take this one passage: John 6:
51 I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.”
52 Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. 54 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 55 For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.

As you might expect Paul I tend to take this quite literally. However it is also true that without the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross, dying for us and our sin, none of this:
51 I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.”

... would have been available to us.
that it is, amen. And the death of Jesus, second member of the Trinity, on the cross, while the Father was in heaven (eloi eloi lama sabachthani ) Matthew 27:46, is further proof of the omnipresence of our God.

Of course.
This part here seems to me to be LOOKING for something to be wrong and making it so:
Since each Eucharist contains the whole Christ, and since upwards of hundreds of wafers are consecrated during each mass, hundreds of Jesus Christs become physically present. Although the Vatican would never acknowledge it, this is a form of polytheism, the worship of many gods.
I think it is a HUGE leap to go from the wafers being the body of Christ and the wine being the blood to anyone WORSHIPING them to that worship somehow equating each individual wafer as a person/God.
Many things can be said about the RC Eucharist BUT that it is a form of polytheisim is, at best, a gross misunderstanding and at worse, malicious lase propaganda.
