I meant, "pound for pound" stronger.

I think I'd be at a distinct disadvantage arm wrestling you. You're about 2 feet taller, and probably outweigh me by....I mean we're the same weight.

We mostly just carry them around. They only get wielded on special occasions.

I'll grant you that a having a penis seems a lot better than dealing with one of those salt water fish tanks that you ladies are constantly trying to maintain, and whether she admits it or not my wife is jealous every time I write my name in the snow, but your assertion that I '"wield" a penis is still erroneous. If I ran around wielding the thing all over the place I'd be getting pepper sprayed three times a day.

And how many men would go through labor and childbirth the 2nd time. Women and pain / men and pain.

So the USA military outspends the next 7 countries but still needs to start drafting women for Imperialist wars?

What could be wrong with this picture?

I hope so. In fact, I'd like to see two years of mandatory military service for every kid when they turn eighteen. I can't think of a better way to get people to pay attention. Look at our defense spending, for example. Endless billions on hardware, including things like tanks that the army doesn't even want, but soldiers have to buy their own body armor and the VA is still broken? That's criminal. Or look at how we're using our military. "Fighting for our freedom" is just a propaganda line. Our freedom is threatened by our own government and the billionaires that own it, not by brown people in distant lands. Our military is fighting because the rich want control of natural resources and because the defense industry makes more money when we use missiles than when we just stockpile them. War is a racket.

The thing is, as long as we have an all-volunteer force we can just carry on with business as usual. We've been at war for 15 years, but you'd never know it. Most of us aren't even effected, apart from little nuisances like the TSA and the occasional fear-mongering, opportunist politician. Pull everybody directly into the mix and it might be a different story. Maybe.

Ed,

I agree with your post. Please don't tell anyone though. We wouldn't want people to start believing you are becoming rational. :poke:

A couple of things. You start out apparently supporting imperialist wars.

Then its more like national service? Not sure..?

Putting everyone in the army doesnt seem like the way to reduce "defense" spending. Or avoid military adventures.

All women are daft. None are exempt.
