If he wants to fight back he needs to shut his face hole and allow his surrogates to do it for him. His job is to be presidential. Presidents of the United States don't feud with beauty pageant contestants. It's surreal that I even feel the need to type that ridiculous sentence. Some things should be to obvious to need saying.
Maybe, but you have to admit Trump has won doing things his way and not the conventional politician way.He has proven them all wrong being unorthodox.Trump is gonna win despite them trying to steal it away from him like they did Bernie. They are gonna try to but are gonna get caught.

Unconventional worked well for him in the primaries, but it hasn't been as effective in the general. Stupid didn't hurt him in the primaries, but it has in the general. He needs to adapt and tighten things up, and there's not much reason to think he can do it.

Also, nobody stole anything from Bernie. He lost.

I disagree. Trump is having slight problems because he has softened his approach. It is hard to get rid of political correctness. It keeps rearing its ugly head,he needs to ignore it.

It just looks bad on Hillary to me.

You're not the target audience. Clinton was aiming at undecided women, and I think she connected.

I'm not sure connecting with deception is a good thing, you'd think she'd get that's why she's not leading in the polls. She convinces noone but stout supporters.

What deception? Clinton never said Machado was Mother Theresa, she said that Donald Trump publicly humiliated because she gained weight. And I've yet to hear Trump deny it. His response was that she was a nightmare and his comments were warranted. He might as well have called her a crazy broad and made a period joke.

It seems to me that different people see things differently, based on the lenses of their own experiences.

I know a number of women who are offended by Trump's comments about Machado, particularly because they're part of a larger pattern that goes back decades. They also see Trump's immediate doubling down and the Trump campaign's assault on Machado's character as more evidence that it's a man's world and women who speak their minds will get slapped down. They don't like that. They're not stupid - they know that Machado's personal life was (is?) a train wreck - but in their minds that doesn't excuse Trump's behavior.

Anyway, we'll see what happens when the next polls come out. Although this might get overshadowed by the report that Trump lost a billion dollars in 1995 and likely didn't pay Federal taxes again until 2010, despite making a fortune and living like a king that whole time. I suppose that makes him smart, but what does it make the rest of us...?

Trump in fact stood up for her in front of reported, her psychological issues were had before the pageant. Stop listening to all CNN, NYT and them only put out Ed.

I haven't heard a thing about Machado since the tweetstorm. I'm running out of [love] to give about this dumpster fire of a campaign. I'm not really interested. Also, I agree with you that CNN sucks, although we probably have different opinions as to why that's so. The NYT, however, is excellent. If the things you're saying are true then they were probably reported in the Times.

EDIT:

Ok, I found the energy to fact check the claims about Machado and Trump and all the rest. He definitely called her those names - he admitted it in an interview a couple of months ago - and her past is somewhat checkered. However, saying she's some sort of monster is a stretch. The porn star/sex tape claims were complete lies. She did have a slightly risque scene in some reality TV show, but that's not really noteworthy these days. The claim that she was involved in an attempted murder is pretty shaky. She was never charged, so it's really just a tabloid rumor. Ditto on the claim that she threatened to kill a judge. He says she did, she denies it, no charges were ever filed. The claim that her kid's dad is a drug kingpin is another tabloid rumor. Any of the aforementioned three could be true, but there's no proof of any of it so who knows. None of it would surprise me - I've always kind of assumed that all beauty queens are nightmares - but at the moment the only things that have been substantiated are Trump's comments.

Re: sex film, I can't say I've gone digging for the film, but my understanding is it was on public TV while she was engaged to be married. Most of what I know is what I saw in that funny YouTube video. Being a public show, obviously they can't show show live sex, so I'd naturally expect it would be somewhat tame compared to a hardcore porn sex film.

NYT called it "risque" ;) but then tell me that this isn't a sex tape when she says: "Oh your ****, my love, what a tasty ****! Your **** is divine." That doesn't sound just a little risque, but rather like something you find on a "sex tape"! And quite frankly, I think she's quite a monster to do that sought of behaviour considering she was engaged to be married at the time. Being called "fat" :P (which I don't believe she was, not by Trump??) should be the least of her concerns.

Really, I'm sure we can both agree that this is just all a distraction from the main issues. Shame on Hillary for putting Machado in the spotlight and waving a red flag to Trump who she knew would bite. Apparently, there will be another Wikileak coming, possibly this week. That'll be fun.

So then, for Trump's part, could have really dealt with it better then to attack her, but then that's Trump isn't it? I'm not his defender, but really -- the core issue I see in US elections now comes fundamentally down to the corruption in both Republican and Democratic administrations that has been rife in the US the last many years. Acts of covert actions in other countries, destroying other countries, it disgusts me especially when Australia always signs on.

See how well the Bushes cozy up with the Clintons? It's really all a sham, Democrats, Republican... Trump is the biggest chance of it all falling apart. Both sides being crossed, unified in disunity or something the like.
