Well... the Clinton camp says that if I don't come out and vote for Clinton, then I'm just helping Trump.
In reality, I'm helping neither Clinton or Trump because I am not voting for either Clinton or Trump.
And Clinton doesn't need my help anyway. Trump, all by his lonesome, is giving Clinton all the help she needs to become the next President of the United States.
I am very content voting for real conservative who shares my values and is not morally bankrupt.
And then I hold tightly onto Jesus to take me through whatever happens down the road.

Shares your values...
I hadn't really thought about that until you mentioned it. Mcmullin is a Mormon which believes in a works-based salvation. You are Lordship* which believes in a works-based salvation.
I guess you could say those are similar values.
And then I hold tightly onto Jesus to take me through whatever happens down the road.
Which Jesus? The biblical Jesus, or mcmullin's Mormon Jesus?
*I really don't think you are a Lordship salvationist. You're just confused.

I know you are just jerking my chain, but for those who are not familiar with our many back-and-forths...
I reject the Mormon doctrines concerning the person and nature of Jesus and God.
And I also reject any doctrine that promotes works-based salvation.
In fact I'm one of 'those guys' who actually invites Mormons into my house so I can share the real Jesus of Scripture with them.
To keep this thread from derailing, let me add some precision to my statement.
"I am very content voting for real conservative who shares my
moral and
political values and who is not morally bankrupt."
(I make no claim to sharing Evan's spiritual beliefs)
So let me throw this question out there...
Which of the three people below comes closest to sharing your moral and political values?
1. Donald Trump
2. Hillary Clinton
3. Evan McMullin

Better to vote for a pagan Cryus rather than Jezebel or another who holds no chance to be elected for the principle of hubris.
There are no perfect candidates in this secularized society. While the Democrats never let, not living up to their own standards, divide their base. The demand Republicans must. That is Sail Alinsky-est...
Stop taking the bait.

I'm not sure all of what Ewan McGregor believes. So I'll take your word for it, that he more closely aligns with conservative values than Trump. And if I were going to vote exclusively for someone whose values align the closest with mine, then I'd vote for someone other than Trump.
But like I said, unless Trump steps down, there are only 2 candidates who have any chance of winning. And one of them I'd never vote for.
If I thought Evan McGregor had a chance to win, maybe I'd vote for him. But the reality is, if Trump doesn't get elected, the Supreme Court is going liberal.

If you were convinced that Trump had no chance to win, would you still vote for him?

Convinced he wouldn't win? No, I wouldn't vote for him.
But there's no way that's the case right now. Unless one's being convinced is based purely on polls.
And even then, polls can change from week to week.

Let's not forget that this election is about us choosing to be controlled by globalists or for choosing nationalism. Let's not forget this or lose focus. Do we want globalists controlling America or do we want nationalism? We should choose nationalism and control our own destiny like the people of Europe who voted for Brexit. It is not just us realizing the problems with globalists.

DBowling,
Just think of it as voting your conscience, for conservative judges.

With the reckless hate out there fomented by the Democrats for the past years and years, is it any wonder we see this?
Why?
If Trump is so terrible, let's elect him, and deal with impeachment later rather than having to live through HRC's progressive Marxism destroying for good the USA...

As I said above...
There are four states that pretty much tell us where the election is at this year.
New Hampshire
North Carolina
Florida
Ohio
According to RCP, Clinton is currently leading in all four of those states. And she only has to win one of those 4 states to lock in the 270 electoral votes she needs to win the election.
With the way Trump is self-destructing, I don't see any way for him to move all four of those states over to his side. His recent move to the gutter has alienated the very people that he needed to attract to move those numbers in his direction.
But we will know move in the next week or two.

I don't see how Trump is self a destructing,he is being attacked by the Republican eastablishment,Democratic establishment, the liberal biased news media, plus globalists and world leaders.I think it comes down to trusting the polls. Keep in mind the polls in Europe were off by 10 points and they all showed remain is winning. This causes me to be skeptical about the polls in our country too especially when Wikileaks has proven how much Hillary and the biased media are working together to hurt her opponents including Bernie Sanders and now Trump. Now there are those who trust the polls but I see very little reason to in this election.I kinda think it is good for people to think Hillary is winning because they will come out in droves to vote for Trump but I believe Trump is far ahead and has been since the Republican convention, can I prove it? No,but Trump has had massive rallies everywhere he goes since he got in this race and it has not changed at all. No other Republican has had this much support, and certainly not Romney or McCain.I see a Trump landslide win coming just like when Reagan won by a landslide and the whole time the polls showed Jimmy Carter winning.
