Evidence for God from Science

No Adam and Eve were not saved knowone could be saved until Jesus died on the cross.

Wasn't Abraham saved by faith?
Genesis 15:6

And the thief on the cross was saved before Jesus died.

Salvation has always come by Grace through faith.

I will put it this way. if he was saved then why did he not go to heaven when he died but instead to Abraham's busm?

Because Christ had not yet ascended.

Why would Chist ascending have anything to do with him going to heaven if he was already saved?

Nevermind. Keep it simple. Scripture says they were in the lord's presence when they died, so I'll leave it at that.

Jesus died before thiefs did. Remember they came to brake His legs but he was already dead

So...

Jesus was dead for 3 day so the thief and Jesus would have been there together even though Jesus died first. Jesus didn't say you shall enter into paradise with me but He said today ye shall be with me in paradise. Same day entering at different times.

And your point is?

My point is the their wasn't saved until Jesus died either.

My point is he wasn't saved either until Jesus died on the cross

Jesus body was dead and buried but His Spirit/soul was not in the grave.
Note that He went and preached to the imprisoned spirits.

Dean Braxton, via his NDE to Heaven, says Adam and Eve are in Heaven.

As a person who has put my faith in Jesus Christ, all three of these statements are true:
I am saved
- When I put my faith in Jesus Christ I passed from death into life and my final eternal destiny was determined
I am being saved
- As I live my life with Jesus, the Holy Spirit works in my life to conform my character to that of Jesus Christ
I will be saved
- In the future I will gain a new resurrection body and spend eternity with Jesus in the New Heaven/New Earth

So even though I am not currently dwelling with Jesus in the New Heaven/New Earth, it is accurate to say that I am currently saved because I have put my faith in Jesus and that is my eventual eternal destiny.

The same is true for Abraham and all of the OT saints. When they put their faith in God they were 'saved', just like we are 'saved' when we put our faith in Jesus (who is God). When Abraham put his faith in God his eternal destiny was determined, just like our eternal destiny is determined when we put our faith in Jesus.
