Ed, you kind of amaze me. You’ve been here for years and not once have given me a reason to remove you from my ignore list.
But I still have to hear your jabber because others are quoting you. Oh well. There are other websites.

You’re being unkind. Ed has a lot of interesting points on a lot of subjects. Because he tripped up on this one doesn’t make his contributions here uninformative or food for thought. We all slip up now and then. Just remember that a lot of Christians supported Trump... ugh.

Call him what you want, but he's 10 million times better for the country, than Hillary would've been. Uh...Hillary would probably have been bad for other reasons. Both the Republicans and the Democrats erred in choosing presidential candidates.TrumpLover wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 4:14 am ...

I'd say that the Trump was the only one of the Republican candidates that could've possibly beaten Hillary. So, for that alone, the Republican voters chose the best candidate.Fliegender wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 9:04 amUh...Hillary would probably have been bad for other reasons. And FYI, I'm definitely not a Trump "lover", with respect to unabashedly agreeing with everything the man says and does.
I do have to admit that Trump has done a lot of positive things while in office. I really like the prospect of a political "outsider" in the White House. Even if it's an imperfect choice. Until Christ decides to return and run for POTUS, I'm afraid that all of my votes are for an imperfect candidate.

We don’t know if Trump was the only GOP candidate who could have won against Mrs. Bill Clinton. That’s just a guess.Grab’emByThePussyFan wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 9:13 am

I also like some of what Trump has done (recognizing Jerusalem as capital of Israel, glossing over the Khashoggi affair, starting a dialogue with the DPRK, renegotiating NAFTA...) but the man remains, uh, unhinged.

Ok. Which of the others do you think would've beaten Hillary?VenusFlyGender wrote:

Unhinged is a stretch. He's not mentally imbalanced.Tinky Winky wrote:

I wouldn't want him as my pastor, but he wasn't running for that office. How many presidents have done as much as they said they would, besides Trump?

I said both Mrs Bill and Trump were bad choices. Why does the country have to choose geriatrics? With Sleepy Joe as Democrat front runner, things don’t look good for the future. All these people should be playing golf in Florida and not running a superpower.TrumpIsTheReincarnationOfMotherTeresa wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 12:30 pm

Golf in hell Florida, is overrated. The "feels like" temperature today, is 110. That's around 43 Celsius, to non-Americans.Fliegender wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 1:49 pmI said both Mrs Bill and Trump were bad choices. Why does the country have to choose geriatrics? 43°Celsius? I guess you need to report temperature in unAmerican terms because of all the people from strange lands who have made the Geriatric State their home. The good thing about 110° is that all your old people won’t have to wear a sweater as they must at cooler temps...like 90°.Living On A Native Reserve In Florida wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 2:00 pm

I posted in Celsius for the benefit of any Canadians* that may be reading. Canadians* aren't the most intelligent species, if you know what I mean.
*Specifically, French Canadians. They're always rude, because they don't have the mental capacity to know any better.

My wife is actually one generation removed from French Canadian. Her dad was born in French Canadia, so that makes my wife a little less dumb. She must have some intelligence, because she chose to marry me.WishingHeWereAmerican wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 4:08 pmCanadians are the dumbest, you’re right there.
