This behaviour specifically was being mean to my younger brother. ;) I'm really not sure how I (and my brother) would have ended up if I hadn't become a Christian and, I believe, received his Holy Spirit who helped me want to do right.

Formative and transformative experiences, for good or ill are a part of the human condition.
Religious and non religious experiences, every nation and culture.

I dont believe one can show Christianity to be special in this regard.

Im glad you had such a positive experience. Keep it up!

I’ve seen plenty of people change due to belief; not just Christian belief but religious belief. I’ve seen plenty of examples of people changing when their outlook on life (aka worldview) changes. Unfortunately it isn’t always a good change. I’ve seen thugs convert to Islam in prison, and come out totally changed for the good and attempts to become a positive example in the neighborhood they return to. Then I’ve seen videos of Muslims standing behind a victim in an orange jumpsuit and proceed cutting his head off after reading a speech.
I’ve seen some christians change their lives for the better after they claim they’ve gotten saved; then I’ve seen some join the type of church some call a cult; and they abandon their friends and family for their new family in the Church. I think it goes both ways.

Come on guys, I'm not sure Nicki intended such as an argument, but rather just sharing personally.
I've seen many an Atheist talk about the "freeing" and "liberalising" of losing their religion.

Thats fine, tho he can speak for himself.

In general the thread is lets pat eachother and ourselves on the back
for not being like them unbelievers who dont believe so they
can seek after their lusts.

And even if they do try they've no real basis for their morality,
and sure dont love as good as us Scotsmen.

Im aware that sycophant / amen posts are favoured
over different perspectives.

Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?

Actually, I thought Kenny and I had a few good exchanges without all that you're feeling.

I'm not feeling many amens, but quite strong different perspectives all the time.
If that is favoured here then I'm not feeling it. Maybe the mods be kicking the "non-amen sayers" off the board?

Up until this post Audie, I was thinking K over reacted.

That post is wrong on so many levels.

Typical point -finger- anywhere -away, from an syco-amener.

Don't worry ST. If I sweep Audie's clangers under a rug, then yours won't worry me at all. ;)
