I have decided, after careful consideration and in honor of our current POTUS and whoever her successor will be, not to simply post-pad and instead to make a serious contribution in light of the importance of this subject. You might say that I'VE BEEN HEALED!!! Now, on to

more productive posts.

Since I work in a hospital, I will start by posting a true story. I don't have the video of the event, but here are photographs (or close representations) to demonstrate that healing still happens:

True story:

My nephew was in a bad accident 10 years ago and lost the use of his legs as a result. He adjusted well, even to the point of being on the olympic wheelchair basketball team. He even married a nice girl and their relationship seems to be doing well. Still, my nephew wanted to be healed of his handicap. He prayed and prayed and prayed. Every day he would pray to God for help. He fervently believed that God's infinite Mercy would help him. Well, believe it or not, one morning, my nephew got out of bed and then he noticed...that his wheelchair had two new tires.

True story. I kid you not.

When I was a kid, I used to pray every night for a new bike. Then I realised, the Lord doesn’t work that way. So I just stole one and asked Him to forgive me.

When I was a kid, all I wanted was a Red Ryder BB Gun. My mom refused to get one for me. Said she was afraid I'd shoot my eye out. Silly thing is that it couldn't have happened because I had glasses, but still, mom was overprotective like that. My dad was cool with it and thought it would actually be a fun idea. You can probably guess how that story ended.
