When it his coup level tensions, there's something wrong. "Russia gate" and the like, isn't merely criticising or simply creating opposition... what is going, I wouldn't be surprised if Dems try to mount and attempt an all out coup.
I think they realize that they can't beat Trump in an election, so they will use any means they can, to get him out of office.
It's really quite pathetic, actually.
Last I looked impeachment had majority support and Trump's defense has shifted from nothing happened to no quid pro quo to fine, there was a quid pro quo - get over it.
Regarding "Russiagate" I'm not sure why you guys are sticking to that ridiculous lie. The purpose of the investigation was to determine the extent to which Russia interfered with the 2016 election and whether or not Russia and Trump were involved in a criminal conspiracy. Mueller determined that Russia did interfere and that Trump obstructed justice on 10 different occasions while attempting to block said investigation. The narrative that it was to investigate "collusion" came from Donald "NO COLLUSION" Trump. The investigation didn't look at collusion. That said, collusion is well established. We watched it happen in real time.
"Mueller" determined? He didn't even seem to know what was in "his" report.
And now, Tulsi Gabbard is what, a Russian asset too? Hillary who helped push "Russiagate" is just bonkers and I even saw CNN calling her out over the latest. Though corporate media is generally right up Hillary's you know what.
Check out what Jimmy Dore has to say on his show, points out many things, and he's definitely by no means a fan of Trump or like:

They're already hedging their bets for de-legitimizing a second Trump term. He couldn't possibly have won the election; it was Russia, it was Ukraine, China, Afghanistan, whatever. It couldn't possibly be just the collective American will
(represented by the electoral college of course
).

"The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the convinced Communist, but people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction and the distinction between true and false no longer exist."
Facts mean nothing to you. If they did you'd have accepted the extremely thorough explanation of how the Russians meddled in our election instead of sticking to long debunked alt-right conspiracy theories.
The rule of law means nothing to you. If it did you'd be outraged by Trump's constant lawlessness.
The Constitution means nothing to you. If it did you'd be condemning Trump's constant, flagrant violations of the Emoluments Clause. And don't tell me that it's ancient and old news, either. When Obama was awarded the Nobel Prize he consulted Congress and then gave the medal to his presidential library and the cash prize to charity, as is required by the Constitution. Meantime Trump brings his whole entourage and security team to his own properties, charges them full rate, and pockets the profits. And you don't care.
Conservatism means nothing to you. You cheered while a radical populist took over your party and dumped conservative values in the toilet.
Morality means nothing to you. You voted for a Biblically illiterate, twice divorced, p**** grabbing, porn star banging, hush money paying scumbag, then twisted yourself in knots trying to figure out how to square it with WJWD. And the worse he gets the more passionately you support him. In doing so you've cost yourself and your faith a good deal of credibility.
Keep on sneering. The arc of history is long. You guys will get what's coming to you in time.

It sure is funny how libs have fits over Trump.
This must be what they call "Trump Derangement Syndrome".

Funny how rarely anyone addresses the content of my posts rather than just brushing them off with a cheap ad hominem. The real Trump Derangement Syndrome can be seen whenever a Trump supporter finds himself face to face with unpleasant facts about their guy.

No Ed, there are some of us who know precisely who Trump is and yet we prefer him over crooked Hillary a million times over. At least we have the balls to admit it, We share the same exact disdain and outrage towards her as you do towards Trump. Going down the list of reasons is a waste of time. You will never convince me and I will never convince you so please spare me the unbecoming righteous indignations.

Byblos,
You echoed my thoughts.
I'm a simple guy. The way I look at this is simple. We had two choices: an extremely imperfect man(Trump), or an extremely imperfect woman(Clinton). One has policies that I really don't like. The other, has a lot of policies that I do like.
Since I don't like Clinton and her brand of politics, I chose to go with the lesser of two evils, to keep Clinton from being president, and attempting to enact her policies.
Ed,
I really don't know why you have such a difficulty understanding why people would support Trump over Clinton. I'm sure you remember that time when the US worked alongside an awful, reprehensible man in Stalin, to keep another reprehensible man, Hitler, from gaining power.
Ed,
You are an intelligent guy. It's not rocket surgery.

Sure. If that's what you understood from my comparison, go with that.

Hillary Clinton? The retired grandma who has absolutely nothing to do with any of this?
People, the President of the United States of America withheld military aid money allocated to Ukraine as leverage to try to force the Ukrainians to investigate his opponent in a domestic election. And that's just the most recent thing.
So, bearing in mind that the 2016 election is over and Hillary Clinton retired three years ago, do you stand behind the President's behavior?

Come one Ed. Could you try to make her sound any more saintly?
The old, innocent, poor, helpless, grandma.
If Trump did anything prosecutable, or impeachable, and someone can prove it, I have no problem with him being held accountable. Just like I had no problem with The poor old grandma, being held accountable for the email scandal.

My point isn't that she's saintly, it's that she's irrelevant. You guys are talking like you're currently being asked to choose between Clinton and Trump. You're not. You were asked to do that once, but it was three years ago and it will never happen again. So enough about Hillary. Stop changing the subject. This is about current events.
Also, he did a bunch of things that were both prosecutable (or would be for anyone but a sitting President) and impeachable. Most recently he got caught red handed using aid money as a means to extory election help from a foreign government.
So...?

As long as she keeps opening her yap, she is current events. Claiming Trump's presidency is illegitimate, is asinine.

Is she though? Really? Or is it just easier to fall back on "what about Hillary" than to try and wrap your head around current events that actually matter?

It's definitely easier to see what crooked Hillary is doing, than trying to decipher what Trump did or didn't do. If I'm being honest, It all gives me a headache thinking about it.
So, like I said before, if Trump or anyone else, did anything illegal, and someone can prove it in the proper way, he/they deserve whatever they get.
