Well its an intuitive judgment and so perhaps you are right.

But in regard of tp, I often say this soph example:
Imagine you live in a bomb shelter, that has the ultimate shielsing
against the ultimate weapon.
And theirs a chance that your rival or you could destroy the universe
with your next weapon invention/discovery.
So you decide to pass a radio aerial thrugh a tube in youre ultimate
shield and negotiate peace, but youre to scared incase the breach in
your shield kills you.
So you think ehm what shall i do?
And you remember that communication is crucial to thinking anyway as
between one logic element or process element and the next.
So you deengineer every inteligant lifeform you can and their computers,
in the hope of discovering the ultimate communictions thru the ultimate
shield against the ultimate weapen!
And so you discover love which links inteligance and then God.
You feel willing to give up everything for the more advanced being
in Love, like Jesus did.
(I think in scripture Tp is called the pearl of great price)
Love you out there.

Didn't he say at the end that tp was the pearl of great price?

That still doesn't really answer my question.

Actually, this is interesting. Where in scripture is the pearl of great price? I want to read about it.

the pearl of great price is the kingdom of heaven, a reference to one of Jesus' parables. It is in Matthew, chapter 13 I think. It refers to finding something of great value, actually a realization of the truth.

I lost track of the exchange in the last couple of posts. How would telepathy work between different species, wouldn't you have to have a common frame of reference?

Why would you if you're transmitting thoughts? After all, if it is our spirits communicating, language barriers shouldn't be a problem. As for common frames of refference, we're still in the same universe. We would be able to figure it out if it turns out to be an obstacle.(which I highly doubt)

I think an emphsis on its small size is relevant.
Its easy to miss.
Somthing like miscommunication in an argument.

The seed of the Israel mustard plant is small but the bush is as big
as a tree!
Mustard has alot of taste for just a small amount.

Well I think true inteligance is the seeking to communicate at the most
delicate but pervading medias, partly because only a little might
pass throught the ultimate shield against the ultimate weapon.
And accidental blockages from misunderstandings.

Unless you're thinking in terms of greek philosohpy thoughts aren't absolutes, they refer to something. Lacking a common referent thoughts would be meaningless.

This is what the classical college liberal arts curriculum was all about, if you had no common point of reference you could not truly communicate.

"Warp speed!"
"Captain, she can't take much more!"
"Raise shields, launch plasma torpedos!"

I feel like I'm in a Star Trek convention....live long and prosper I guess.

I am searching for exactly what you are trying to say. Do you believe in direct spirit to spirit communication? Do you really feel that you are on a level that could understand that? I mean no disrespect but I don't feel you truly realize what that would mean.

I don't believe in it nor do I disbelieve it because I simply don't know. It is just a possibility.
