Something that I found interesting, is that doctors are a notable exception to the general rule that the more educated and wealthy people are the less likely they are to be religious.

As that link shows, most doctors see religion as beneficial to health, and 33% said "religion and spirituality help prevent specific medical events like heart attacks, infections and death".

According to the link above, doctors are nearly as religious as their patients with over 3/4 of them believing in God and 59% believing in some sort of afterlife. 90%, as opposed to 81% of adult Americans, oppose religious services occasionally.
So what's the reason for this? To me it is an indication that (in America at least) with the historical and cultural connection between religion and the practice of medicine, the chances of there being an anti-religious bias are lower in medical schools than in some "other" places. That's mostly just speculation on my part, but I thought they were interesting stats, anyway.
