What do you love on Christian Science?
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." (Psalm 19:1)

I'm glad you're back! We need more people with a sense of humor like you!ChristianScientistAnn wrote:I enjoyed the funny liar youtube video and the fruitcake and the chauffeur as well. Good laughs. But I’m committed to Christian Science, folks. I love Christian Science. There hasn’t been even one remark made in the thread that I haven’t already heard many many times. None have surprised me or disturbed me.
How unloving. If any of you were to visit a Christian Science Reading Room or the Church of Christ, Scientist near you and mention which religion you are, no one would be trying to convert you or change your view or warn you that you are on the wrong path etc. You would be free to keep your religion without criticism. We would welcome you, and be available if you had a question. We would not say a word against your religion. Our way with a visitor is to assume that they know what they want and to let them be.
Ann is fine with her name. Leave her alone. Could you change my name? I have come to feel that ''Furstentum Liechtenstein'' is somewhat pompous. I'd like something which better expresses my nature. I am thinking of ''Friendship & Love'' as a new name. With this name, I could keep my ''FL'' signature.1over137 wrote:If she was seriously interested to be here then the choice of her username was not a happy one.
edit: if she wishes I can change it.
Or, may I suggest changing your name to Froot Loop? That way, you can still keep the FL, and the name fits you better.Furstentum Liechtenstein wrote:Ann is fine with her name. Leave her alone. Also, I would like my new avatar to be a teddy bear. Thank you in advance for your help.

Actually, I like ''Froot Loop'' as well! ...but I use the term to describe a certain theological bent, so it wouldn't be appropriate to use it as a screen name.RickD wrote:

And, you can go "old school" with your avatar picture:

My dear loving Friend, I am not French because I am not a Citizen of that Fair Land. You are so sweet! I do appreciate your assiduousness in searching out a new Name for me. Thank you so much! And give my regards to your lovely wife.
