What did anybody ever learn from reading?
As long as we have tv, we're ok.
I have Netflix, does that mean I more evolved than you?
Not with that bad grammar.
It's not bad grammar to make a typo, skipping the "am" was not intentional.
American's shouldn't throw stones when it comes to murdering the English language.
The plural of American, is Americans. No apostrophe.
No cake for you!

Initially I thought no, everyone has a right to read anything, y'know freedom of speech, access to knowledge, but then I thought of the Koran, would I? I haven't read it and knowing the ill feeling between some Christians and Muslims (and vice versa) would I be objective? Then I thought Mein Kampf, again not read it, I recoil at yhe thought but historically an important book and it vould be argued a valid insight.
I guess as well, its hard because I appreciate books.
Anyway just a thought.
In Annette's opening post, is the question about "banning" books in society? I didn't take it that way.
To not sell certain books in a bookstore, whether because they're unpopular, you just can't sell everything, or because your don't promote them. I do not liken such to "banning". Can someone please explain how a bookstore not offering a book is "banning" because I just don't see it that way.

The only problem with Me wanting to ban books is that That would give someone Else the same right. And the other person Might want to ban the books I really appreciate. So -- I'll 'let' the other person read whatever they want -- good or bad -- for My right to read My books of choice.
And, there Are some books I Would ban. Those that are morally / ethically destructive. And That extends beyond books -- video games, movies, Internet sites, etc.
