Philip wrote: Wed Jun 12, 2019 8:55 am Now that he's 50, Rick is officially OLD - has been welcomed into geezerville! He was born just before man walked on the moon, the year the Beatles' released "Abbey Road" and the hippies gloried in the mud at Woodstock. Man, now that's a long time ago! Back when men were men and women were either teachers, nurses - or stayed in the kitchen showing off their home economic skills and making killer sammiches! :P

50 is very old. Rick must be riding a tricycle in his gated community at such an advanced age...I hope he wears a helmet.
:wheelchair: not tricycle. Get it right!

In your case, hobble.
I can still outrun you!
Only if you're chasing me with a sammich.

My mistake. I won't question a woman when it comes to cooking.

I won't question a woman when it comes to cooking.
My advice: When a woman makes ANY food for you - EAT IT!!! If you don't like it, at least act like it's okay.

Yes, I learned that the hard way.

"Yes Dear. It's delicious. No, it's not burnt. It's just a little crispy."

One time, my sister asked my brother in law how the sandwich was that she made him for work. He made the mistake of thinking that she wanted an honest answer, so he told her that it was a little dry, and could've used a little more mayo.

The next day, his sandwich had a surprise inside. Dog biscuits. From then on, he made his own lunch.

You claim to be a Christian and a woman yet you don't know what a Reuben sandwich is?

Exactly what kind of "Christian" are you? Mormon? Jehovah's Witness? Christadelphian?

:protest:

Ah!
Now, here's the thing...
You noticed that I am indeed a Christian and that I am a woman.
So far so good..
But..
Did you notice that I'm a Brit?
Hence my ignorance of a reuben sandwich.

Btw, what on earth is a Christadelphian?

Apparently they don't have Google in Britain.
