jbuza,

I asked,
Do those whom God calls to repentance require the application of the shed blood of Christ for salvation - which is central to the law of God? (Hosea 6:6, Matt. 9:13; 12:6; 23:23, Ps. 40:6-10).
Your response,
Yes, once.
How many times is not the issue here. Once will suffice.

It appears you have changed your answer from NO to YES concerning the question,
Does the law of sacrifice have application to those whom God calls?
Correct?

It all points symbolically to Christ's sacrifice, his blood and the death he suffered. That's why the sacrificial system of the OT is the tutor that was given to lead Israel to understand Christ's then future sacrifice.

It's all part of God's plan of salvation for mankind.

John,

Let me get this straight. You don't see how the sacrificial ordinances of the first covenant, and the priests, and temple system, which were given to deal with the purification of the flesh from sin, was a copy and shadow of heavenly things pointing directly to the sacrifice the Messiah would offer in himself for the remission of sin?

You're just pulling my leg right?

Jbuza,

You said,
I'm not being contrary, too much :D , I do see that the Law of Sacrifice tells us about Jesus and what he accomplished.
Why not try being contrary not at all?

So do you now acknowledge that the law of sacrifice has application to those whom God calls to repentance?

Jbuza,

You asked,
Perhaps you could show me how the Law of Sacrifice continues to apply to my life.
I would be happy to; however, what shall I do with all the things you have said to me that lead me to believe you have already determined what I might tell you next about the law is pointless?

E.g.,
I do not seek to keep the Law.
What is their for me to follow the Law now?
There is nothing for me in the Law
I do not submit myself to the Law.
Nevertheless, I will let you to answer your own question,
I am guilty of the whole law except by the cleansing of the Blood.
What of the sins you have yet to commit? If you repent of them, are they covered under a different sacrifice?

Hi Jbuza,

Your initial question was,
Perhaps you could show me how the Law of Sacrifice continues to apply to my life.
In return I asked,
What of the sins you have yet to commit? If you repent of them, are they covered under a different sacrifice?

You response,
I would say no, the sacrificing is all done. Hence my wondering how the law of sacrifices still applies. I don't think that when I begrudge someone, or fail to do what I should, that I should run to Jesus and say, "Can you cover this with your blood", But that I turn to my father God in heaven and confess to him and ask for the wisdom to avoid bad attitudes and for a more willing spirit.
Ok, I see where you're coming from. Perhaps I should back up a little so that you and I can get on the same page.

Let's start here: Do you believe God wants us to confess our sins to Him daily? In other words, should we repent every day for the sins we commit against God?

Hi Jbuza,

You said,
Yes. I believe that we must confess to God. We must ask God to forgive where we have failed, and seek a right relationship and guidence from his spirit. Whenever we let the flesh have power we must ask a faithful and just God to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I would agree with you.

So now I would ask, how is this forgiveness you seek possible? In other words, how is it when you or I repent that we can be forgiven for sins which, when committed, put us in debt according to the law?

How is our debt to the law incurred by sin, paid?
