Danny, I just started reading this thread, and I'll be praying for you. I'll also pray that the Lord will change the mom's heart. I had someone close to me in a situation similar to yours, except without the baby. The Lord showed her to love the other person, no matter what happened. After time went on, the Lord spoke to him and he wondered why she was so loving, when all he did was speak vile things to her. Pray that God will give you the strength to love her unconditionally. God can change her heart through you. I've seen it happen. Trust Him.
John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Baby mother went into hospital this morning to give birth. She's well overdue so let's hope everything is all right and she is safe along with the baby.

I would say the beers are on me, but you're all on the other side of that big old pond!

Listen, thanks for all your support, brothers and sisters. You all mean a great deal to me.

Who's the daddy? ;)

God bless to you all.

Baby boy is born, healthy, 9lb 13oz. He's a biggen, after his old man.

Thank you for all your love and support in this thread; it's blown me away.

What also has blown me away was holding my son in my arms last night. His eyes opened and looked at me. Whether or not he could focus on me is irrelevant. He looked into my eyes. I mean, WOW!

Thanks again, troops.

Congratulations Danny, all the best.
Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

Congratulations Danny. I always tell people that being there for the birth of your child, and holding him in your arms is the best feeling in the world. May God bless the life of your son.
Acts 17:24-25 (NIV)
"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. [25] And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else."

Absolutely, August. Never had a feeling like it - doubt I ever will again. And rightly so. What an amazing thing.
