Tell that to Peter, he seemed to be under the impression that Jesus "knew everything".
You need to make the distinction between Jesus in his "limited human state" and the qualities The Word of God had BEFORE the incarnation and what Jesus was AFTER the resurrection and is NOW.

Paul makes it clear that the Son of God "emptied and limited" himself to be one of us for the short time He was here with Us.
As per John, He regained the full glory that he had with the Father after he was resurrected.

From your first comment, you stated that:

Do you think that the writers of the bible were capable of making errors and thus being in contradiction with each other?
Do you think that God spoke to each person (however you see God) and thus they were "robots" that wrote word for word what God spoke?
My answer is yes to the first and no to the second.
So according to your statement, "
the writers of the bible were capable of making errors" and then base your claim on your knowledge that...

….The information is from the bible
...is found in the bible, which according to your own statement, where the writers were prone to errors recorded in a fallible book.
By your definition of inspired the bible is a fallible book since the writers were prone to errors, therefore, you own doctrine that you derive from the bible are likewise fallible.
Please be consistent with your own bible based doctrines.
1stjohn0666 wrote: …."inspired" an enlightening from God to do a job correctly or not is how I view inspired. Now with that I also hold that when any person spoke of "the scriptures" they were referring to the OT. The NT had not been scripture yet. Most only stood as letters to whom it may concerned.
John666, Here are more question for you regarding this subject:
Do you think that Greek words in John 1:1, "the Word was with God" actually means "Jesus Christ was with God in His foreknowledge"?
Was Jesus Christ born of a virgin?
Are the dead according to your doctrine "unconscious" after death; and don't exist until they are brought back to life in at the last judgment?
How many people were crucified with Christ Jesus when he died?
In regards to the Holy Spirit, is the Holy Spirit a holy spirit, God the Father only?
What is your view on the atonement of Jesus Christ?

I can give a nice gospel contradiction. The discrepancies do not take away from the great doctrines of the bible.

So according to your view of inspired, means error, due to people writing it down, therefore you cannot even be sure your own view point is correct...
Who or to whom do you base your correct interpretation on?

There are items recorded in the bible that came from sources other than God.

Again, another vague and meaningless answer from you that does not answer the question…
Who or to whom do you base your correct interpretation on?
Why are you so afraid to explain yourself in any details to defend your point of view?
Making shot talking point assertions without any details is a hallmark of someone in doctrinal error.

It must be the Spirit of God who convinces me of truth.

Who and what is the Spirit of God to you...
A personality?
A force of mere action, will, (power)?
How do you define the truth you are convinced of as being true since according to you, the bible due to being inspired, has errors so there is no truth in it unless interpreted by whom?
People use the same terms but do not mean the same thing by the terms so you need to actual clearly define and explain what you mean so people can dialogue with you..

The great doctrines of the bible are without error and in teaching they never contradict. Now as for small "details" there are discrepancies between one writer and another. There are people who hold to absolutely without error and if one finds an error or is approached with one, that person feels as if the bible has one single error then the entire bible is is all in error.
