No one would heal for money.
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." (Psalm 19:1)

So are you suggesting all those Christians who claim miracles happen, are unable to prove it?Byblos wrote:Of course they will all be frauds. The only one who can prove beyond any doubt that miracles could happen is God. And I don't think He's up to taking bets.Kenny wrote:Well actually lots of people have showed up; they were just shown to be a fraud.1over137 wrote:Does it prove something that nobody showed up in 30 years for that challenge?Kenny wrote: He spoke of things happening outside the laws of nature, I mentioned a person who had a million dollare challenge for anyone who could demonstrate acts outside the laws of nature and it hasn't been collected on

Would someone heal to silence a skeptic who goes around claiming faith healers are frauds? And is convincing others that they are frauds?1over137 wrote:No one would heal for money.

Yet nobody has sucessfully silenced him which brings credibilityto his claims1over137 wrote:maybeKenny wrote:Would someone heal to silence a skeptic who goes around claiming faith healers are frauds? And is convincing others that they are frauds?1over137 wrote:No one would heal for money.

Why? Does that man want to be healed? Does that man desire God? Can that man be humble enough? I do not know him. Do you know him? Should God silence all such people walking on this planet?Kenny wrote:Yet nobody has sucessfully silenced him which brings credibilityto his claims1over137 wrote:maybeKenny wrote:Would someone heal to silence a skeptic who goes around claiming faith healers are frauds? So, because nobody has silenced him, and because there is no voice from the sky, the man's claims are credible?Kenny wrote:Didn't you say; maybe he would silence him? A voice from the sky confirmed by today's technology proclaiming himself to be God would silence him; don't cha think?

His credibility is determined on a case by case basis. But the thread is about God addressing the world; not James Randi.1over137 wrote:So, because nobody has silenced him, and because there is no voice from the sky, the man's claims are credible?Kenny wrote:Didn't you say; maybe he would silence him? It's not that I don't like to read and comprehend; it's just that in my experience when I ask a person a question, when they direct me to a book, website, link, or some other source to answer my question rather than giving a straight answer in their own words; 99% of the times this other source does not even address my question let alone answer it; thus it winds up being a complete waste of time. Usually when a person has an answer, weather they got it from a book, link, website or what-ever; they will give the answer in their own words rather than direct me to the source they got their information fromRickD wrote:Hana,1over137 wrote:Read Matthew 11.Kenny wrote:His credibility is determined on a case by case basis. Kenny is going to tell YOU to read Matthew 11, and tell him what it means. Starting to think Kenny doesn't like to read and comprehend.
Naah! 99% is about right!1over137 wrote:And Matthew 11? Seen no answer?
Hmm, 99%. Sounds too much.
