I find the "deist" positions a bit funny.
I think the paradox is lost on them.
They say that God is "too much" to be known, that we can't say God is this or that because He is so above all that, that he can't be known personally.
YET, the very act of stating that God can't be known IS a statement of knowing something about God ! and since it is based on a personal understanding of God, it is stating that they know something about God in a personal way !
Our friend here wanted us to abandon OUR view of God because HIS view stated that our understanding couldn't be true because it wasn't the same as his, though he never gave us an example or explanation of what that view was other than we must be in Harmony with God and the Universe and HOW did he go about demonstrating that?
By trying to foster disharmony and by being inharmonious with all of us here !
