Can I use that excuse the next time I get busted (actually, maybe that is where the word came from)? Actually, I have a perfect neutral look I put on whenever I see a sexy lady - whether in my wife's presence or not - but especially Academy Award stuff whenever she is around. But just about every time, she'll say, "I know you are not blind to that woman." My responses: "WHAT woman?" That never works. So the followup: "Well, I'm not dead yet, either." If I didn't notice, I wouldn't be the way God wired me - attracted to women and curves - why I'm attracted to YOU." But do I say to myself, "Oh, yeah, baby, I'd like to take her home and..." That's where it goes straight to lust and sin.

Unless your wife is as dumb as a bag of rocks, that won't work. And seeing that Mrs. K is the smarter of you two, you're going to have to come up with something better.

You'd be surprised as they have to process and admit to themselves they were checking them out, realise some gayness to it, put two and two together that they wouldn't run off with that woman so it doesn't mean you will either, and then realising it's joke will lighten the mood.

So then all you need to do after that is reassure them that your love for them has grown over time, you'd much rather see them naked, and make love to someone who knows you, has your kids, and been with you through much. You have no such love for anyone else.

It's called throwing them off guard, and then buttering them up (but you must say only truth) = you not only get off the hook but may even need to put out that night for your wife. (thankfully Mrs. K doesn't browse these forums often)

But K has a really good point. If we notice a really attractive man or woman and have any insecurities on whether our spouse has noticed them then we have to take into account that we are watching their reaction because we ourselves have reacted and noticed also.
So perhaps it's a reasonable deflection to put it back on the other person, "So you've noticed... Are you about to run off with them?" To highlight the often absurd notion that just because we take notice of beauty and are attracted visually that that's means anything other than what it is.
Jealously is an all consuming emotion, it takes the most smartest and secure person and turns them into an insecure a*s. On the plus side, we've all suffered from it. It's universal.
Ironically men can be a little more oblivious if there is a very attractive man in our midst whereas a woman will always tend to be very aware. Very, very aware!! Watch where you look gentlemen lol.
So I think it brings back to the fact that woman are very visually stimulated, 9 times out of ten we have noticed her before you have and are studying your reaction. We as woman also deal with jealously quite differently to men. A man will deal with it usually a little more refrained than a woman, whereas we will bust your ba*ls.
Women notice the hot guys and the hot girls, men tend to be more visually focused on just the women but I don't think that equates to men being more sexual just the fact that women are crazy, hormonal creatures that make a song and dance if your gaze lingers too long all the while as we notice everything and often get away with it

I think culture itself has had a great bearing on this. But the more sexually 'free' women become in society the more it feels like the tide is turning. And perhaps its just revealing what has always been there.

But I'm sure plenty will disagree.

According to the latest studies.
In the past, not surprisingly there was a very misognist idea that men were more sexual. Overall and visually which accounted for the preconcieved notion that men cheated more and were more prone to sexual indiscretions due to a higher sex drive. Not surprisingly these studies were all conducted by men.
The latest studies have proven this outdated idea to be wrong.
Women are overall just as visually sexually stimulated as men. The key difference being that whilst
women are quite highly also aroused by women, men tended to be less so by the same sex.
So by and large women are actually the more sexually aware but tend to deal and conduct themselves with more restraint and control.....

If women are just as visually sexually stimulated as men, one must ask; why is the customer base of the porn industry dominated by men? Even male porn (directed at women) had more gay men as customers than women.

I think it's probably a mistake to base the Intricacies and complexity of attraction and sexuality on porn sales. Other than the fact that it is an entirely male based industry, with women by and large having the roles as 'actresses' and often not reflected in higher management, company ownership and/or Executive decisions. It is a male dominated industry targeted for males so it's not surprising that the market is men. Women are often portrayed as sexual objects and whilst women are visually sexual beings we also tend to be smart, opinionated and emotionally strong. Objectifying other women or men sexually does not equate to sexuality, visual or otherwise. To suggest so, I think just portrays the rather twisted idea of modern sexuality when it's equated to porn as I don't think it's a realistic notion of sexuality anymore than the ridiculous fairy tale Hollywood regurgitated ideas in romance films in anyway realistically portrays the realities and intricacies of love, human connection and relationships.
It is a false illusion across the board that is fed to masses for entertainment and in no way is a realistic snapshot into human behaviour.

That was amusing and very true!!!
Can I add though as your resident feminist, the new variety though who shaves and wears a bra that women are not clutching onto our men at the beach so besotted by them and overtaken by jealously and watching their every move that we are not also noticing all the rather spunky men around. We do!
Just like you guys notice the bikini clad women we are also noticing the six packs and muscles but the difference being men don't dwell on it for the most part like women tend too, which this video very poignantly addressed.
