Human existence, scientifically, would have to be explained by three SEPARATE chance occurences. One the planet was alligned at just the right angle to allow for life to BEGIN. Secondly, our planet gained the systems(oxegyn, photosynthesis, etc.) to SURVIVE. Third, our planet contained the resources(oil, metal, electricity) to FLOURISH. This is not one fortunate accident (the big bang) that carried us to our current state of existence. How the planet is alligned has nothing to do with the resources inside the planet. Yes we do what we can with the resources available, I've heard atheists say time and time again, but we almost couldn't have much more in terms of comfort. Did we randomly recieve all these comforts? Please don't tell me you are going to chalk this up to human intelligence, and if you are, create some soil with your own ingredients first.

I suspect the truth is, it's difficult for us to imagine "comforts" with which we haven't been provided. But it is possible: instead of oil, for example, imagine the Earth being filled will super-clean, ultra-high-energy fuel packets, each of which is 1 cm^3 and capable of powering the city of New York for a year.

It doesn't matter how many coincidences you list, the answer is still the same: it's because of these factors that life was able to begin and evolve here.

I'd like to see you demonstrate that, using the scientific method of course.

Sounds a little like the puddle thinking analogy that Douglas Adams came up with:

. . . imagine a puddle waking up one morning and thinking, 'This is an interesting world I find myself in, an interesting hole I find myself in, fits me rather neatly, doesn't it? In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!'

So no demonstration today then?

Really this has just helped me make my point, I mean we hardly live in a mud puddle do we.

I got all this and have studied it, I just haven't found where it mentions resources and I find this to offer profound proof for a creator. Thanks for the sites.

Get hold of Creation As Science: A Testable Model Approach to End the Creation/evolution Wars by Dr. Hugh Ross. It is filled with resources and references to further resources. I saw it on Amazon for less than $9.00 and it is hardcover.

Age of knowledge, I was actually mentioning natural "resources" as something I haven't heard anyone mention as proof for God and that is what is profound to me. That is why I mention resources so often in my posts. But I googled the book you put on here and it looks like a good one.
