I look at the this way as a Christian. We are all Adam and Eve, Male and Female in this world. It's not to question the wisdom of God whether Genesis as written by man and ordained by God has us believe Adam and Eve were the first human beings created. It means to me that I am born into this world as all of us are born the same way, created by God, and live as we do with God the Father to us all. We have a choice in our lives to eat of the fruits that bring sin and death, or live sin free experiencing the fruits that give us Life. Unfortunately we are all born of Sin because The Garden of Eden, our world we are born into has most of us raised by human Mothers and/or Fathers or even worse, and many do not know of God the Father, our real creator. So we live in a sinful world, taught our ways by sinful human beings, where all your wisdom and knowledge if any, is absorbed in to you since child birth. Genesis is about creation, child birth, taking a mass of nothing, the sperm of man and creating you and I. If only when I was born, I opened my eyes and knew my God as my father raising me to adulthood, never realize what cloths are, feeling hungry or pain in God' garden of Eden, but we all know that is Genesis and quite possible in Heaven, but not here on earth. Earth is our Garden of Eden created by God, and God wants us to have Life by eating the good fruit of God, but if we eat of the fruits of evil (wrongful knowledge) we shall surely perish to the depths of Hell and Earth becomes our Hell. Sorry for any grammar or spelling errors, I am no scholar or English teacher.

You can try to make the text mean what you want it to mean, but that doesn't make it so, no matter how much you want it to.

Yes...to what we believe IS and IS NOT. That's what this forum is all about, our individual beliefs that help us view different answers that just become another question.

Me too actually. But living here in redneck central, I find myself seriously annoyed by the horrible grammar, and the butchering of the English language here.
