Re: miscarriage
I had four miscarriages. Would the the bond I have with my daughter be as string as it is without them? Or am I just looking for reasons why?
Would I give up those babies for the one I have now? In a hearbeat.
They are all gifts that I cherish.
There has to be a place in heaven for these special souls.

Re: miscarriage
it's so hard cos i found it partly ruined the healthy pregnancies and robbed them of full joy....always at the doctors..with paranoia....extra tests...and if you have had missed misscarriages you aways wonder ..is this one dead too? though not everyone will let it ruin subsequent pregnancies.

Re: miscarriage
Know what you mean, you never relax enough to enjoy it, there was always that fear there. The constant scans, appointments, such a close eye kept, glad for it but wishing it wasnt needed.
Know why my daughter is so special? Not just because if them but I had post natal depression that went unnoticed for seven years too.
It took all that, as heartbreaking as it is, it was all part of Gods plan, and miscariages and all, I thank Him.

originally by drinking, losing myself in the online world and feeling worthless. then something happened which prompted me to see a doctor who diagnosed it, and more importantly understood the hell I was in.
He promised me anti depressants wiuld work, he convinced me it wasnt my fault and I wasnt a bad mother.
and I started really searching for God.

Re: miscarriage
I had one in between my two kids - I can't say I was really sad though. If I hadn't had a child already I'd probably have been worried about whether I was going to be able to have one. I just figured there was probably something really wrong with the baby. It's one of many consequences of the fall.

Re: miscarriage
The fall?
It would be a blessing if they missed the cairns and got lost on the way back. Or if
the Thing on the ice got them tonight.
I could only turn and stare in horror at the chief surgeon.
Death by starvation is a terrible thing, Goodsir, continued Stanley.
And with that we went below to the flame-flickering Darkness of the lower deck
and to a cold almost the equal of the Dante-esque Ninth Circle Arctic Night
without.

Re: miscarriage
Omg Nicki! Did you fall down a flight of stairs when you were pregnant?

Re: miscarriage
like no hate for one anotherIt's one of many consequences of the fall.
like no physical abuse
like no back stabbing
like no child pornography
like no war
like no discrimination
like no clothes ... or any of a million billion things we do as a race that we were never intended to do by the grace of God. so yeah, I can see Nicki's POV, for surely there would be no miscarriage, if we never fell, and were still in the bosom of God.

Re: miscarriage
People deciding to disobey God and letting imperfection into the world. I've been liking the progressive creation theory but I find it hard to reconcile it with the fall, if there was no death or suffering in the world before people disobeyed God.neo-x wrote:The fall?

Re: miscarriage
This video link below is about abortion, but this guy makes a good point of looking through the eyes of Jesus/in a spiritual way the things of this world. So if we think about it with miscarriages those babies get to be with Jesus in heaven and avoid the bad things of this world & avoiding the chance of them going to hell by rejecting Jesus when they're older.

Re: miscarriage
I dont like that logic, though can understand why it may bring comfort for some. To me, if you use that reasoning then whats the point of them ever being in the womb past conception?
