Rick Abel has said enough in my opinion to warrant that surmise on my part.
He is of course entitled to that opinion as I am entitled to the opinion that he is wrong.
I like Abel. He seems like a great guy. A bit stubborn maybe and passionate but who I am I to begrudge him for that
I could go over many a post of Abels and quote him to highlight my point. The way in which we use language and our choice of words are very telling but I have already don't that earlier in this thread and to be honest I can't be bothered. But to sum up what had been said, Muslims should not be allowed to enter the U.S, refugees should not be allowed asylum based solely on their religion, they are operating under a silent Jihad, with an ulterior motive to move to west to secretly infiltrate society to bring in Sharia Law. It's what Muslims do, not some Muslims but all of them because they setting up the scene for the antichrist. The violent Muslims are using violent jihad whilst the rest are using their silent plan. Can we believe what we see on TV? Are they really refugees? They are pretending to be in need to infiltrate and conquer.
I could go on and on.........
But no their not evil, just silent jihadists , refugee imposters, seeking to infiltrate the west so that they can usher in the antichrist. But other than that pretty nice people
Abel didn't start this thread BW did. He is not alone in this thinking, not by a long shot. I am not speaking about this board but some of the most disgusting things I have read in regards to Muslims has been by Christians. It's such a shame. It both angers and saddens me.
All I can do is teach my children differently and express wherever possible that those voices do not speak for me, for the Christ I follow or Christianity as a whole. I don't care whether majority disagrees with me, because with every inch of my faith I believe they are wrong.
As for your other question "do I think Islam is evil"
To be honest I think any religion that goes against the fundamental teachings of Jesus is a tool to pull people away from God. At times some Christian beliefs fall under that category.
I think that any form of fundamentalism that dehumanises anybody is evil.
I think that the Isis gunman shooting non Muslims is evil, as is the same gunman shooting Muslims.
I think that the Isareli soldiers shooting children for throwing rocks in the back as they run away are caught up in evil.
I think Mulsims calling for the death and hatred of westerners is evil.
I think that westerners calling for the death, deportation and hatred of Muslims is evil. And yes, I have seen countless posts on social media calling for such. Things to the like of the only good Muslim is a dead Muslim. These types of posts are getting hundreds of thousands of likes and shares.
Whilst I in no way justify hatred, the in depth reading and study I have invested into this has allowed me to see how and why these feelings towards the west have come about. We are not innocent.
We are being pitted against each other, like a couple of pit bulls being prodded before being let loose in the ring.
The crazy thing is both sides think God is on their side. He's not.
Evil is smiling like a Cheshire Cat, as this hatred sweeps over both sides.
