It is clear that McMullin sees Hillary as a lesser evil, his attacks are always pointed at Trump, and as Rick quoted his words are to do with blocking Trump. He wants Hillary in office more than Trump.
That is your inference driven by your presuppositions...
But McMullin's stated position is that he wants to block both Clinton and Trump
Second, if you really think McMullin will block both, please tell me what then happens in the election? It's only a block if either are prevented from getting in. Yet, trust me, one WILL still get in.
The 12th Ammendment says that the House keeps voting on the top 3 electoral vote getters until someone gets a majority.
The question then becomes what will the "never Trump" Republicans in the House do?
Would they give in to Republican pressure and give Trump the win?
Would some of them join the Democrats to give Hillary the Win?
Would the Never Trumpers and the Democrats compromise and agree to give McMullin the win?
I don't know... this is uncharted territory... if it happens... which is unlikely... because Trump probably needs to win Pennsylvania to keep Clinton from winning outright... which is unlikely to happen anyway
In any case, McMullin's cards are clear, and I don't see he would be a good president either.
At the moment the bar has already been set very low by Clinton and Trump.
It wouldn't take much at all to be a better president then either Clinton or Trump IMHO.
And at least we'd get a real Conservative.

How can you say that? You have no idea what kind of president Trump would be. If he appoints the right people, and listens to their ideas, he could be a great president.
McMuffin would've been just like the other 16 republican candidates in the primaries. Trump would've destroyed him too. People don't want an egg McMuffin.
The republicans nominated Trump. And what's hilarious, is when I googled "McDonald's breakfast menu", an ad for Mr. Evan McMuffin himself, was on the site.
Egg McMuffin, take a seat. The people have spoken, and they chose Trump.

We know that he is a liar, and immoral, and corrupt as a person...
America does not need a dishonest, immoral, and corrupt President... IMHO
Which is why I refuse to support either Clinton or Trump

Which could be true for McMullin as well.
And unlike Trump, McMullin comes in with a genuinely conservative world view.
We'll see who the people choose on Nov 8.

Ah yes. America needs Jesus Christ as president. I can safely say, I don't think Evan mcmullin is Jesus Christ.

So... now that the election is over, what's next for McMullin?
Evan McMullin talks future of conservative movement under Trump presidency
http://fox13now.com/2016/11/09/evan-mcm ... residency/
“We are going to stand for change in America that is good change and is consistent with the Constitution returning power to the states, making sure the balance of powers at the federal government is in place,” McMullin said Wednesday.
...
“We are going to be broadening the scope of the conservative movement by reaching out to people who are non-traditional conservative voters, like African-Americans and Hispanics and Muslim-Americans and women who feel disaffected right now," McMullin said. “We are building a conservative movement that will be inclusive.”
This may go nowhere, but I will be watching to see what happens.
I would love to see a truly Conservative movement that embraces the principle that all men and women are created equal.

Isn't that quaint..
Evan Mcmullin, a
Mormon wants to start a movement that embraces the principle that all men are created equal. And you don't see the irony in that? Maybe Evan can get Al Sharpton to be his running mate, and together they can preach race equality.

So are you implying that a person who happens to be a Mormon is incapable of embracing the principle that all men are created equal?
Are there other peoples or religions that you also believe are incapable of embracing the principle that all men are created equal?
... or is it just the Mormon religion that suffers from this inherent deficiency?

Of course I'm not implying that a Mormon can't believe that all men are created equal.
My point, which I thought was obvious, is that racism is
inherent in Mormonism.
Mcmullin belonging to some reformed kind of Mormonism in which racism is wrong, would be like a KKK member belonging to a reformed branch of the KKK, which isn't racist. In other words, it's laughable.
The irony is absolutely hilarious to me.
Kinda like a Muslim claiming to be peaceful, when the founder of Islam was a violent thug. Of course a Muslim can be peaceful. But is he following the example of the founder?

I guess McMullin must have missed the "how to be a racist" lesson then. Because I am unaware of any racist words or actions that have come from McMullin.
Which is a very pleasant contrast from the current President Elect.

Please try to understand my point. I'm not saying McMuffin is racist. I'm saying that the irony lies in the fact that he's a Mormon fighting for the equality of all races. And Mormonism is inherently racist against blacks.
You don't see that as at least a little bit ironic?
