Face to face with God.

This was an interesting question I read on another Christian Website.

Imagine this scenario:

You woke up one day and walked out the door of your bedroom and found yourself in a room that was obviously not part of your house. All that is in this room is a throne with God sitting on it. You know it is God - there is no doubt. He says to you "Welcome my son - ask me anything you please, I will not be angry not matter what the question."

What would you ask him? (after you have come to your senses and picked yourself off the floor and adjusted your eyes to the light)

Thankyou

But that is not a question.

Actually - that is probably my fault - I didn't make it very clear. I meant what "Question" would you ask?

God Bless

I would like an explanation of the real nature and meaning of the crucifixion. That is assuming that we can even understand it.

The crucifixion is explained although if you have no sense of what honor is it won't make sense.

I would ask God how much wood can a woodchuck chuck.

MM when you get past the age of twenty you'll start to notice that not all explanations are complete, or true.

I'd want to know...

Why can't I be made perfect already, and without any more pain?

And why did He call me "son" ???

And why does He love me so much?

Oh, I'd also like to know how to create from nothing by just saying so.
After all, that's pretty amazing. 8)

Something only someone who already knows the complete and true explanation could know. ;)

And you could explain how JP's explanation isn't true. Preferably with specifics instead of smart comments.

Did I say it wasn't true? I said it wasn't complete. In fact it isn't an explanation, it is only a rebuttal.

I have been considering this subject for as long as you have been alive and I am still not convinced that I have seen the real or complete explanation yet. That is why I said that I would ask God that question.

Your initial response was a "smart comment".

By the way, I ran a google search on J P Holding, what is it with this guy? Who is he?

j316, what problem do you have with J.P. Holding?

You can find out more about him here.

I don't really have a problem with him, I do think that there are a lot of people on the net like him and I wonder if that is a good thing.
