If God created the Universe in 6 days, then why does the universe appear older? If it wasnt created in 6 days, then how could of plants existed before the sun was created? Why did God make the Bible so confusing lol.
Also, if the bible was inspired, what did the people writing it think? Did they know they were inspired? Or did they just make it up not knowing they were inspired?

I'm an old-earth creationist, so I hold that God created the universe in a lot more than 6 days. The word used for "day" actually means "time period."

They didn't. Plants were created before the sun was clearly visible, before then light would have gotten through the cloud cover but not visibility of the sun itself.

A lot of things in the Bible simply
seem confusing, on account of the fact that it was originally written to a culture that lived thousands of years before us, and was written so that
they could understand it clearly.
