Evidence for God from Science

Was wondering if anybody can answer what was so wrong with Cains offering to God? I read the KJV version of the bible.

The difference was not the offering but the intent. Abel gave the best of his flock, his heart was completely given to God. While Cain gave only "some" of his goods. He was self-centered and wanted to show what he could do, the offering was not done out of love of God but because he had to. In a way he used the oppurtunity to show off what he could do with his own two hands.
