1) Like a girl
2) Let a guy you know, who knows her as well, know you like her.
3) Let it slip 4 people told you to ask her out
4) Hand him cell phone
5) Talk to girl mentioned in #1 that he calls about something completely different.
5) NOT realize phone's speaker can pick up voices farther away than where h e was standing (tested after fiasco)
6) Allow him to yell into your phone "he wants to ask you out"
7) Retreat to room

Haven't exactly asked. The events occurred a few minutes before my post so no time to do anything like that...I'll strike out later when I go up to the plate.

What kind of attitude is that?

They can smell the lack of confidence.

Put your expectations high so you can learn to deal with great dissapointment. It will only make you stronger.

Low and slow and it'll go...that's my motto...that way, when I crash and burn, it's only a short trip down 8)

I take this kind of stuff analytically-if not programming  I have two guys helping me, so I can't screw up unless I forget what they say somehow.

And then a guy and a girl I know from high school for back-up...
