The Best Description I can find
In Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Old Catholic, Anglo-Catholic, and some other Churches, holy water is water which has been blessed by a priest, a bishop or, for holy water used in Roman Catholic baptisms, a deacon.

LOL! PL, no, it's not garlic flavored. Although if it were, it'd have a dual purpose (bless bagels while they boil in it); not a bad idea at all. I will recommend it to my bishop and see what he says.

I just always heard that Holy Water, along with a crucifix, garlic, and sunlight, were surefire weapons against vampires. However, i've never tested these out to make sure, so I'm open for correction.
