New South American mammal Fossils Found

Obviously not everyone will agree with the dating on this.

What would be a plausible explanation for the claims in this article from a Young Earth Perspective?

1. How does YEC explain the degree of differences of animals across the Continents?

2. Have YEC qualified proponents ever taken the progression of changes even within a species based upon the fossil record to explain not only current forms, their distribution in terms of geographical limitations and then reconciled the evolving forms below, many of which are extinct where they are known to exist?

This is a major reason why, despite YEC reputation as being virulently anti-evolution, when you actually examine their claims you have to accept a rate of evolution over a period of 6,000 years that is absolutely mind-boggling and far more than any naturalist would claim.

Any thoughts?
