What does it mean to be "conformed to this world"?

I can't remember what verse this is from, but I remember reading - I think - the Book of Proverbs and seeing a verse "Do not be conformed to this world".

What does that mean? Get used to sinful habits?

That quote is from Romans 12. Others can probably give you a much more scholarly answer, but to me it just means not to let the world influence the way you think and act, because the world system is evil and opposed to God's ways. Instead we are to transform our minds to be in sync with God's ways. Prayer, meditation, and reading God's word are good examples to accomplish this.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Act 9:6
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?
